The research to K+ began in June 2004. Pascal Carrette starts his research and encounters immediatly problems. The aircraft disappeared and the useful information that already existed is kept secret by some other researchers. A group is created to help this research and to find as much information as possible. For Belgium Jürgen Verstaen is brought in for the general research as for the resistance part in Waregem. In October 2004 an American officer is coming to Belgium to investigate the B-24 crash. Our first meeting happens in a hotel in Ypres with Lt.-Col. George H. Kelling and the two researches are merged to one..jpg)
The entire year of 2005 information is given in between Europe and USA. Extra information is also given by English and American services. From May 5th till 13th, 2006, the Belgian research team visits San Antonio, Texas, to meet with George H. Kelling and to interview John W. Bryant in Fort Worth. The health of Bryant is not so well, but he agreed on giving an interview anyway. We got a better view on the life of young soldiers in 1944 and their memories about Belgium. We could even phone Ray Hargis and James Cockriel.
In 2007 there were two more interviews done by George H. Kelling, one with James Cockriel and another one with Ray Hargis. The all say that what they did in 1944 was a normal thing. John Bryant had a nice saying: "It was like a milkman or mailman doing his round, not more and not less".
