Dit verhaal had ik ook gehoord van mijn vader die teon nog een kind was. Zijn vader Aloîs was bewoner van schuiloord Le Grèbe in Waregem. Mijn broer Stefaan Decraene is nog altijd actief landbouwer op datzelfde bedrijf in Waregem.

Erreur au sujet du lieu d'atterrissage de Sneed : ne pas confondre avec Coffman!
J'ai enquêté sur cette histoire et sur celles des autres aviateurs de Jean Lefebvre entre 1983 et 1990. J'ai été en contact avec tous les hommes (sauf Kolinski qui n'a pas voulu répondre) et les familles de Mahoney (les frères) et de Varty (la soeur), Wissenback, Bisher et Levey (voir mon livre 1990).
J'ai pu interviewer tous les membres (ou familles) du groupe de Jean Lefebvre. Je publierai dès que possible.

Excellent job Pascal and Jurgen! Never forget the history,we have(certainly young people)to learn from those bad experience and must listen to the stories of those famous heroes before it start all over again!Many greets
